Update

Well it has been a good but long three weeks. We all settled in at home just fine however we found out last week at Klayton's two week check up that he was losing significant amounts of weight. Down to 6lb 10oz from his birth weight of 7lbs 5oz. The doctors had us start suplementing along with the breastfeedings and therefore my three hours of sleep got cut down to an hour and a half between feedings. Thank goodness at his checkup today he is back up to 7lbs 14oz and we can start taking longer breaks. YEAH!!!!

I'm glad that little Klay is gaining weight and you'll be able to get more sleep. For me, sleep deprivation was the hardest part about having a newborn. Haddie was great, I just don't function well when I'm not getting enough sleep. I'm an eight hour kind of girl :).

It was fun getting to see ya'll during our visit. You looked terrific and Klayton is as cute as he can be. Give him hugs and kisses for for the VA clan.

Noah did the same thing at about 4-5 weeks. He had to eat every 1 1/2 -2 hrs on the dot too! It wears you out! Hope you get some rest!
